C&C MUSIC GROUP REACHES BOOKING AND MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT WITH LYNDA RANDLE

Nashville, Tenn. (January 20, 2012) - C&C Music Group is proud to announce the signing of DOVE Award winning artist Lynda Randle to their talent roster.

Lynda says, "I’m excited to work with C&C Music Group. I’ve always been very careful about who I align myself with because I feel like we have something that is so sacred and special that God has entrusted to us. I am confident that this is a God thing and I am looking forward to all the great things God has in store!"

About Lynda Randle

Fulfilling her calling as an artist with non-stop energy, Lynda’s music and message have proven cross-cultural and cross-generational. She co-authored a book of testimonies with her Husband Michael entitled God On The Mountain that reveals the many lives that have been moved by the song.

In addition to her calling to minister through music, Lynda also enjoys her calling as a wife to Michael Randle who serves as Senior Pastor of Mosaic Bible Fellowship in Kansas City, MO, and mom to 2 precious daughters, Patience and Joy, stating simply, “I am so blessed.”

Cheryl Paige (Edelmann) was born in San Diego, California. At the age of one month, her parents moved to New Jersey. During that cross-country trip in the mountains of Flagstaff, Arizona, her parents’ car ran out of gas. A truck driver, whose identity was “Carl Driver” came to their aid. His only statement was to take care of that beautiful angel baby girl. From that moment on, Cheryl’s parents knew that God had a real purpose for her life.

Cheryl was born again at the age of 4 and baptized at the age of 6; one of the youngest members of her church to be baptized. Cheryl began taking piano lessons at the age of 11. She would play from the hymnal for hours as her father listened and praised the Lord. At the ripe old age of 16, she was playing the “Hallelujah Chorus,” along with the famed pianist, Dino’s background tapes. Although she loved playing her piano, singing was always uppermost on her mind.

At the age of 16, Cheryl entered Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey where she majored in piano and minored in voice. She traveled with the Westminster Choir then conducted by many famous conductors at Carnegie Hall and the Philadelphia Academy of Music.

Having been raised on Gaither music and Southern Gospel, Cheryl automatically was drawn to Country music and wanted desperately to move to Nashville to become a Country music artist. She made several demo tapes and traveled to Nashville singing on the stages of the Grand Ole Opry and the Ryman Auditorium. However, God had a different calling on her life and that was to sing for His honor and glory! Cheryl then continued singing in local churches, just waiting for God to open the doors for her.

In 2005 Cheryl made her first full length CD, entitled “Praise His Name,” which was produced at a local Christian studio. Soon thereafter, she was called to do a concert in the mountains of Pennsylvania at a lovely Christian retreat. It was there, that the anointing fell and Cheryl knew she was finally doing what God had called her to do.

A second 11-song project entitled, “Garment of Praise” was completed in 2008. “Garment of Praise,” was produced by both Dustin Jenkins (formerly of The Wilburns and The Stamps) and Lynn Royce Taylor (formerly of The Stamps, The Vogues, The Blackwoods, and currently of The Elvis Imperials), and includes the single, “That’s My Boy,” written by Martha Goodwin-Drake. This CD also features a duet with Lynn Royce Taylor entitled, “Hold On To The Miracle,” which was written by both Cheryl and Dustin Jenkins. This project spawned two radio releases, including the title track, "Garment of Praise," as well as "That's My Boy."

In 2010, Cheryl a project entitled, "Only Believe." This project contains original songs composed by several Daywind writers, including Ronnie Hinson, Marty Funderburk and Sheri LaFontaine, along with writers Eva Wilson, Tony Stone and Dan Adkins. This CD also includes the song, "Together Till The End Of Time," a tribute to Cheryl's grandmother, which was written by both Cheryl and Martha Goodwin-Drake. "Wonders Never Cease" (a duet with Dustin Jenkins) was released as Cheryl's third radio single.

2012 began with a name change from "Cheryl Edelmann" to "Cheryl Paige." In conjunction with this, Cheryl has signed with C&C Music Group, a major label, which boasts an artist roster including Lynda Randle, Naomi and the Segoes as well as Mercy Road. She is scheduled to begin recording her first project with them in March 2012
