Cheryl Paige (Edelmann) was born in San Diego, California. At the age of one month, her parents moved to New Jersey. During that cross-country trip in the mountains of Flagstaff, Arizona, her parents’ car ran out of gas. A truck driver, whose identity was “Carl Driver” came to their aid.
